Ion Television, originally Pax TV, launched in 1998 and is now owned by Scripps Networks. It offers family-friendly entertainment, including reruns of hit dramas like Criminal Minds and Law & Order. In recent years, the network added sports content like WNBA and NWSL games. Ion reaches 64.8% of U.S. households with 44 stations and affiliates. It still airs holiday movies and older shows such as Who’s the Boss? and Psych. Ion also carried children’s programming from Qubo until 2021. Today, Ion broadcasts general entertainment from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., with morning blocks for paid and children’s programming.
