Nick Jr. Channel Television

Nick Jr. Channel, which began on September 28, 2009, is a TV network aimed at young children aged 2 to 6. It is a spin-off of Nickelodeon’s preschool programming and focuses on a mix of new and classic shows for kids. The channel took over from Noggin, which became a streaming service in 2015. In addition to original content, Nick Jr. airs shows from Nickelodeon’s extensive library. In 2012, Nick Jr. launched NickMom, a four-hour evening block for parents, but it was discontinued in 2015. The channel uses program promotions and sponsorships rather than traditional advertising, except during the NickMom block. Nick Jr. is dedicated to offering entertaining and educational programming for young children and their families.
