Difference Between A Retailer & Dealer?

Capital Group Enterprises goes into all of the different terminology related to sales contractor’s. In most cases these sales contracts have a set amount per contract and are commission only sales contractors. Don’t let all of the different terminology confuse you, a company can only issue 1 1099 tax form at the end of the year.

What is The Difference Between A Retailer & Dealer?

Essentially the difference lies within the company that determines what their retailers and dealers do! In AT&T’s case both are sales contractors.

An AT&T Authorized Dealer sometimes has more boots on the ground running door-to-door programs, events, referral other marketing and sales tactics that do not relate to a physical location that has cell phones & displays that they can activate for them right there and then. Phones get expressed mailed to them.

An AT&T Authorized Retailer will have physical store locations where customer’s can take home their items such as the new iPhones. In order to become an Authorized Reseller you need to be generating tons of revenue and the requirements are a little bit tougher in order to rent store locations.
