Paramount+ with Showtime Integration: A New Era of Streaming. On January 30, 2023, Paramount Global announced the integration of Showtime’s streaming service into Paramount+’s premium tier, officially launching “Paramount+ with Showtime” on June 27, 2023. As part of this merger, the Showtime Anytime app was discontinued on December 14, 2023, with the standalone Showtime app scheduled for phase-out by April 30, 2024.
On January 8, 2024, the primary Showtime channel was rebranded to Paramount+ with Showtime. However, Showtime’s branding remains for multiplex channels and original programming. Paramount+ with Showtime offers an extensive selection of blockbuster movies, first-run films, stand-up specials, documentaries, and exclusive original series. Starting November 2023, it also includes popular content from the Paramount+ library.
