Golf Channel Television Channel
A U.S. sports television network owned by NBC Sports Group, a division of NBCUniversal under Comcast. Originally established in Birmingham, Alabama, it is now based in Stamford, Connecticut. The channel specializes in golf coverage, featuring live tournament broadcasts and instructional shows. It holds exclusive broadcasting rights for the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and PGA European Tour, along with select USGA tournaments and NCAA Division I golf championships.
Since 2016, it has been part of NBC’s Summer Olympics golf coverage. Comcast also manages various golf-related businesses through the channel, including GolfNow, Revolution Golf, and the World Long Drive Championship. As of December 2023, the channel is available in approximately 59 million U.S. households, down from 85 million in 2012.
